HOUSES FOR RENT
Q. What procedure do you use to screen rental applicants?
A. We ask that all potential tenants complete a rental application that asks you to list your current employer, current landlord and banking information. This information, along with information from the credit bureau is used to determine a total credit score provided to us by a third party that processes this information online. Priority consideration is given to tenants with excellent rental history.
Q. Is there an application fee for rental properties? Is it refundable?
A. The fee is $45.00 for each adult applicant, and it is non-refundable.
Q. Is my security deposit refundable?
A. If you meet all of the terms and conditions of the lease agreement and your home only shows signs of normal wear and tear, your security deposit will be refunded within 3-4 weeks of your final inspection.
Q. How do I apply for a property I’m interested in renting?
A. Please download and complete the rental application. (It's a Word document) Submit it to our office along with $45.00 in certified funds (money order or cashier’s check). We are located in the West End at 1107 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. Suite 106, near the corner of Lawson and Ralph David Abernathy.
Q. I have bad credit. Will I be able to rent from you?
A. We handle each application individually. Please discuss your situation with us, and we will use any information you provide to process your application.
Q. Do you accept pets (dogs & cats) in rental property?
A. This decision is made on a case-by-case basis depending on the size of the pet, size of the yard, whether the pet will be inside or outside and other factors. If the decision is made for your pet to live with you, there is a $150.00 non-refundable pet fee that must be paid at lease signing.
Q. I have an after hours emergency maintenance request (i.e., broken water pipe, no heat in freezing temperatures, etc.). What do I do?
A. Call the office at 404-755-6602 and an after hours emergency phone number is provided on the recorded message.
Q. I am interested in learning more about your houses for rent. What do I do?
A. Please call 404-755-6602 ext. 201.
